Horrible Book
I fully support enabling functionally retarded people to integrate into society, but this book crosses the line. It was used as the basis for a graduate level IT strategy course, but communicates at the level of undergrad dropout. Horrible organization, sub-par content (for the most part), and the test database is a pure joke. Internal referencing in every sentence makes it oh so joyful to read. There are some worthy tidbits in the book, however they are disguised in overly verbose paragraphs rather than being highlighted as key points. The price makes it that much more comical. Your money would be better spent on lighter fluid and a match to light the remainder of your cash on fire. I never thought I would advocate book burning, but hey....the authors convinced me to make an exception:) Some people just aren't cut out to write books. Shame on Prenhall for publishing this book, and worse yet charging so much for it. The cost of printing and distribution for this flimsy pamphlet shouldn't be more than $15. Add in a premium for the author's prize winning performance and retailer margins and it should cost no more than $18.00. I'd love a refund.
