A beautiful and effective deck
As a professional tarot reader for forty years, I've seen and used a lot of decks. The Gilded Tarot deck is not just beautiful to look at. Its use of semi-metallic inks and PhotoShop effects makes the pictures leap out from the cards--and very easy to read by candlelight.

The artwork is excellent, showing a grasp of anatomy and costuming often absent in other decks. The pictures are somewhat different from the traditional Pamela Coleman Smith images, but are close enough to enable the experienced reader to leap the gap easily. Beginners will want to study the accompanying book before using the deck.

Gorgeous deck
This deck is absolutely beautiful. Im still getting used to the different images after using Rider-Waite for so many years, but they are pretty straightforward and easy to understand. The book that comes with the deck is nice, and has interpretations of the cards from a new point of view. Some of the interpretations are ones I wouldnt have considered before, but are now proving to be very helpful. The only downside to the book that I can see is that there arent reversed interpretations. Overall, this set is well worth the money, either for a deck collector, or one who plans to use the deck. Very good for everyday use. The set comes with a tulle drawstring bag and a box which can be decorated, both for holding the deck.

Wonderful Deck
This has become my favorite deck. The artwork is fantastic! This deck speaks to me like no other has.
