From the Manufacturer
Halo follows the events of an inter-galactic war between the last surviving members of the human race and an advanced collection of alien races known as The Covenant. The first title in the series, Halo: Combat Evolved, was the flagship title for Microsoft's Xbox video game console when it was released in 2001. The game achieved both critical acclaim and financial success, selling more than 6 million copies worldwide. The Spartans are highly trained warriors. Although individually less powerful than the Master Chief, an army of Spartans is a lethal force. Unique to HALO 3 are the alternate armor and helmet styles worn by these soldiers.
Customer Reviews
Cool toy, but be careful
I like this toy and it was at a great value so I ordered 2. I kept one sealed and opened the other to put in my little "halo battle scene" but right when I opened it, the handle on the brute shot broke off! I superglued it back but when I tried positioning the figure for the gun, the hand broke off!!! Cool figure but be careful when you move it around. I've also noticed that some of the articulation points on the halo figures loosen up quickly, so keep an eye out.
If your a collector, or halo fan, get it!
I ordered this toy about 2 months ago. I can't say any negatives about the figure its self, but the figures weapon, the brute shot is a "no no". As soon as i took the figure out of the package the handle on the brute shot broke off. i Super glued it back on but it broke instead in another spot and i lost the handle. Grenade also can get lost easy if you play with the figure often, so be careful and don't take it somewhere like on the playground. If your just a collector leave it in the package your be fine, if not be careful taking it out of the package because the brute shot is fragile.
Rogue Spartan
The character was very beautifully crafted, extremely flexible, and highly detailed to every bit as seen in the game. However, I cannot get him to wield the Bruteshot. I attempted to use the handle, but alas, it was too fragile, and broke while posing. Other than that, the Bruteshot is identical to it as in the game.
