Buy new: $9.49 / Used from: $6.80 I prefer the Perfect Shot Gun accessory to the Wii Zapper for most light gun games, but it's a matter of taste. This handgun feels more realistic and leaves the nunchuk available in your other hand for games that require independent nunchuk movement.
Nyko makes THE BEST GUN accessory for the Wii - far better then the "magnums" or "laser pointer" guns offered by CTA and other competitors.

Buy new: $44.99 / Used from: $37.99 2009/M. This was largely overlooked, but it is an incredible installment in an incredibly scary franchise. Don't miss this light-gunner.

 | Call of Duty: World at War
Buy new: $46.99 / Used from: $25.51 The Wii version supports the Zapper. The CoD franchise has been hit or miss. Thankfully, the WW2-themed WAW by Treyarch is heavily based on the incredible COD4 and is awesome.

 | Ghost Squad
Buy new: $19.06 / Used from: $11.81 2007. This arcade port (2004) from Sega is a close 2nd for single-player, but the most enjoyable MULTIPLAYER lightgun experience on the Wii.
If you prefer a more realistic military tactical setting or just don't like zombies/monsters, this should be your first choice. Either way, it's definitely worth it.

 | House of the Dead: Overkill
Buy new: $13.79 / Used from: $16.02 2008. Designed exclusively for the Wii (this is not a port) to take advantage of the console's unique controls. Let's hope the developers learned from their previous outing.

 | Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
Buy new: $17.49 / Used from: $12.94 2007. The current leader of the SINGLE-player Wii lightgunners imo.
If you're a fan of the Resident Evil (Biohazard) franchise, this is a no-brainer as it takes you back through the familiar territory of RE0, RE1, and RE3.
Better with Nyko's Perfect Shot then the Wii Zapper due to the need for independent Nunchuk movement (reloading, knife slashing, etc).

Buy new: $45.99 2009/M. A solid sequel to Umbrella Chronicles.

 | Medal of Honor: Heroes 2
Buy new: $29.49 / Used from: $16.84 2007. Only the single-player mode of this game is a rail-gunner, the outstanding multiplayer mode is traditional FPS and one of the best online mp shooters for the Wii (up to 32 players).
Definitely worth your time!

 | House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return
Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $11.85 2008. As an older arcade port (1998/2002), HoD looks & feels a little dated. But it should be familiar and satisfying to long-time light-gun fans.
Umbrella Chronicles is a prettier zombie shooter with new versions of familiar settings and gorgeous cutscenes, but HoD offers more straight-up shooting action.
Metacritic = 66.

 | James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace
Buy new: $28.49 / Used from: $14.99 2008. Special controls for the Wii version. It can be fun online or in 4-player split screen, but don't expect it to live up to the outstanding James Bond predecessors.

Buy new: $68.93 / Used from: $6.95 2007. Comes packaged with the Wii Zapper. A kid-friendly shooter, especially for fans of the Zelda series.

Buy new: $19.49 / Used from: $11.50 Nintendo's less threatening design has a cool & compact form factor (somewhat like a sub-machine gun), but may feel a bit cramped for larger gamers.
Ideal for children and smaller hands. And great if you want both the Remote & Nunchuk linked together in a single accessory. Plus, it includes a Link game.

Buy new: $15.34 / Used from: $9.60 2008. Yet another arcade port (2004) featuring old-school arcade shooter action - fast-paced, twitchy, and intense.
Bottom of the list because it is least enjoyable & least attractive of the current crop of Wii shooters. Maybe the sequel will be an improvement.
If you've exhausted your rail-shooter options before exhausting your interest, then maybe give it a look.

Buy new: $14.99 / Used from: $8.85 2007. Take a fun, classic, hit like 'Duck Hunt', then screw up its simple formula and release it as 'Chicken Shoot'. This is an update of a 5-year-old downloadable, PC, flash game. Avoid at all costs!

Buy new: $36.99 / Used from: $12.98 The best-reviewed of Cabela's many big game hunting sims (eg, Trophy Bucks, Dangerous Hunts, etc). Not truly a rail-gunner. You probably already know if this is your kind of game or not.

2008. Only recommended if you intend to play the Cabela's line of Big Game Hunting games. It has a satisfying heft, but isn't as accurate as many other peripherals. Personally, I feel Nyko's Perfect Shot accessory for almost all other light-gunners.

Buy new: $12.99 / Used from: $12.52 2008. Better designed than its predecessor (above), but apparently less well-received. I haven't personally used this peripheral.
