PROTECTS YOUR LCD!5
So I just purchased the Canon SD 800 and I love this camera, but I was really nervous about the LCD screen getting scratched. This piece of plastic relieved my mind as soon as I put it on, and it goes on bubble free and it's very easy to apply. I can't imagine that it would be easy to take off, but I don't think I'll ever really need to. I just wanted something that would protect the screen from fingerprints and possibly scratches. It also comes with a great lint-free cloth to clean the screen!

I thought it was worth it, although the shipping was admittedly expensive.

A Normal Dude's Opinion on the Clear-Touch Screen Protector.5
*Cracks Knuckeles* Okay, seeing as nobodies gone into depth on this puppy, and there's still a bit of mysterious aura surrounding it, I'll do what I can to dispell it.

I figured 5 bucks was worth figuring out whether or not this thing was worth it. Luckily and Thankfully, it was. It served it's purpose very well. If it was a cleaning agent, It would be Mr. Clean. Able to do it's Job, and Sexy at the same time.

The screen protector came in an envelope - something I didn't expect. Not a bad surprise, but just thought it was worth mentioning. I opened the envelope to find the a sealed package containing advertisements and Very clear instructions as how to apply this thing to your camera. It's actually kind of fool-proof.

The protector itself is thin and transparent - but not so thin it looks like a piece of seran wrap. It's thick enough to actually do it's job and deflect everyday scratches and scuffs. No, this protector isn't going to stop a bullet or keep the hulk from breaking your LCD, but with a little careful adhesion, this is a surefire way to keeping your LCD very nice.

The dimensions are absolutely perfect, and they fit right into the screen, and are slightly rounded at the edged, and generally contour quite nicely with the LCD screen. I was impressed by the clear instructions and usability of this product. Simply pull of the back sheet to expose the sticky side, slap it onto your LCD (well, not really slap) smooth it out and you're ready to go.

There wasn't much room for error in applying it since the dimensions were so accurate. This protector gives me comfort and peace of mind when touching the screen, or pointing out something in a photograph.

Also included was a small linen cloth which is handy to attract the dust off your screen before applying. I used a higher quality screen buffering cloth I had for my laptop - but if you don't happen to have a fancy screen cleaning buffer thingy, this little cloth included will do the trick for getting the dust off your screen.

After applying, I felt it would be tough, or require some fingernails to get this thing off my screen. Included were instructions for taking off and cleaning the Clear-touch protector in water. I don't really see a reason for cleaning it (besides wiping off the top external surface) Nor do I see a reason for removing it from my screen, simply because it does its job so well. (someone else mentioned this in one of their reviews)

Overall, This product does exactly what advertised, and I am very pleased. And for that, it deserves 5 very well placed stars of honor.

WHO IT'S FOR: People who are willing to spend their lunch money to protect their precious LCD screen from dust and scratches, and have peace of mind when touching their screen.

WHO IT'S NOT FOR: People who are fine with their LCD and think they're careful enough to avoid scratching or damaging their screen, and feel the trade-off is worth saving a few bucks and shipping.

Enjoy. : )

Clear as a Bell5
If you pay $300 bucks or more for a little (or big) digital camera, why wouldn't you cough up another $6 bucks to protect the LCD screen. It just makes good sense and if I made a camera I would pack one of these with every camera.

Its simple to install and it does nothing to interfere with the view, in fact it may cut back on the glare a tad. It can be cleaned and if it does get scratched, just replace it and rejoice in the fact that your camera screen remains unharmed.

This purchase is a 'no brainer'.
