Electric, exciting
This is the album everybody wanted Uri to record: electric trio. Rhodes keyboard sound, funky bass, dense drums. Very modern, sometimes it's pure dums'n'bass, but the background is somewhere between electric Miles Davis (EMD!) and Herbie Hancock. It's like a hardcore version of Medeski, Martin and Wood, all MMW fans will like it right away. Don't expect any classical influences, this time Uri explores pure electric jazz. Fantastic record!

If you're looking for the funk, the jam, the experience, try this. I had never listen to Uri before, and bought it based on listening to Amazon samples. Trust me...it'll blow you away if you're looking for something sexual, something to kick it. Not for the faint at heart, but not too overbearing. One of my all time faves in the cd player. I'm jamming to it now.
