A lot can happen during a family get-together at Vipp. A year ago an important decision was made. The founder's original pedal bin needed more company. Consequently, the three members of the family Jette, Sofie and Kasper, employed the company's first industrial designer. She was given the task of developing a soap dispenser that matched the materials and quality of the classic pedal bin from 1939. Vipp's industrial designer Lisbeth Kamstrup worked on the functionality of the soap dispenser making the pressing surface quite large and the conk non moveable. To design the soap dispenser wit the same look and feeling like the rest of the Vipp products the soap dispenser is made with a special designed pumping system to give the user a sense of quality. The soap dispenser has been created as a part of the Vipp family and yet very much on its own. The new invention is named Vipp 9.
