It's wood but not a solid piece of wood the table is made from 2" x 2" strips that are glued and pressed together and when the install the bottom piece with the metal accents they tightened the screw way to much and split the table straight down the middle. There's no phone number for this company but have sent them an email it's has been 3 days and they HAVE NOT responded !!!!!!!!!!!! This the first thing I have ever boughten off Amazon and the last because of my experience with this purchase.

Hard to beat for the price
I'll admit that I got this for $20 less than the listed price here, but I think it was a mistake. In any event, for a solid wood table it is still reasonably priced. As others have said, the table is nearly black, but if this is what you want then it is great.

Fantastic!
I love this coffee table! In fact, we loved it so much that we had to buy the matching end tables. The style is really neat, sort of a modern/classic style, with the chrome highlights. I would DEFINITELY recommend this table to anyone looking for a nice update to their living room.
