Perfect Solution For Me
This product's ability to talk directly phone-to-phone via IP without the benefit of a PBX was the biggest draw for me.

I am very short on time, i just needed to set up some way to call for free, securely across the internet. So I have two firewalls that established a site-to-site vpn between the two locations, we plug the phones into the two different locations, they pick up addresses via DHCP and we place the call via IP once we know the IP's of the phones.

The DSL internet in the far end was very poor, something less than 128kbps uplink and 256kbps downlink, with latency ranging from 500ms to 1000ms, and these phones worked great with the default settings.

No configuration needed. 'Nuff said!
