The slim is way too narrow for my cat!
Maybe your cat will like using this scratcher, but it isn't at all interesting to my kitty. It's too narrow for him to want to scratch and he ignores it... which kinda defeats the purpose.

These save my furniture
I got a couple of these thin boxes because the double-wide boxes weren't carried by Amazon anymore and these were part of the 4 for 3 promotion with free shipping. My cats love these scratchy boxes! However, this particular box is too thin. I recommend buying the double-wide over this one unless you have kittens. They are very messy too so be forewarned. However, I would rather have tiny bits of cardboard on the floor than have shredded furniture. The kitty hoots boxes also come with catnip that my kitties love.

Kitty does use this but it is a little too narrow for him to lie down on (he does this with the bigger ones and it makes him very happy)
