GREAT PRODUCT
I had bought a cheap clipper off of Amazon a while back and it is now in the garbage. It is worth spending the extra money for one like this. This thing is designed to work for years in a barbershop so it will work great in your home.

My wife cuts my hair and it is like putting a knife through warm butter. The blade is very sharp and cuts hair VERY fast with no pulling. No work at all! The attachements are all good quality and go on easy. This stays cool the whole time you use it which is very nice.

The only downside here is not about the product itself but it does not come with a case to store it in. I just keep mine in a box I had at home so it is not really a big deal.

So look at it this way, to get your hair cut you are going to pay at least $14 even at a cheap place. So all you have to do is use this thing 5 times and you are already have made your money back.

This is a great product. I have had it for seven months and have used it about 18 times and I recommend it over anything else.

UPDATE:
It has been almost 2 and 1/2 years since I purchased this and it still works like new. My wife cuts my hair every other week so it is used often. The blades are still sharp and I have never had to do any repair work on it. If this does ever break I will buy another one!

Excellent Buy for the $$$
Are these professional clippers? Not quite, are then 10 times better than any other clippers for anywhere near this price? Yes. I have pretty thick hair so the $25 Walmart ones we had weren't cutting it (literally). This breezes right through, no problem.

The motor is a little slower and consequently the lower frequency vibration makes your hand numb after a while (well, makes my wife's hand numb anyways since I don't cut my own hair), and also the attachments are like 1970's plastic colors and there is no cape or case (which I fortunately have from the $25 clippers). On the up side, the attachments are standard so you can just use different ones. This serves its purposed very well and I definitely recommend them, you can't come close for the price.

Solid performance
I have been using these Wahl clippers for years - loved them the first time I had them in my hand, and still think these are the best clippers I ever owned. Solid, heavy (which, IMO, is a good thing), quiet. Tend to run a bit hot with extended use, but all the pro models I used do. The plastic distance combs are solid, and are easy to replace / reorder in case one breaks. The taper lever is very handy for the typical boys' haircuts :) I find the cable a bit too rigid which makes it a touch too hard to keep it out of the way - got used to it, but I'd like to see a slightly more flexible cord. In terms of cutting power, consistency, endurance, these clippers are simply outstanding. Highly recommended if you are looking for proven technology and high quality.
