PAPA DON'T PREACH by Thomas Long deals with the destruction and temptations associated with drug abuse and family ties. While I found myself feeling something for the story, I also felt that the author may have overplayed the climax. The secondary story sort of just falls to the side without there being an obvious ending.

Like father like son. People need to realize that we can either become a product of our environment or rise above it. Nigel did his time and is now desperately trying to change but the streets seems to keep calling him. the worst part is that his son is traveling in his footsteps. Will Nigel be able to save himself and his son from a life that ulitimately leads to his downfall..... read on. This is the truth... at least where I come from it is.

Good read.. read it in 1 day!!!

Couldn't Put the Book Down!!
The book is a very fast read. Nigel Hawkins lived a life of crime, then went to jail, & turned his life around only to come out and find out his son is following in his footsteps. Can he stop his son before he ends up like him or will he relapse and revert back to his old ways? I will definately buy more books from Thomas Long.
