Warrior Traditions

.......Warrior Traditions is a series of audio interviews that explores the nature of warriors and warrior traditions from ancient times to the present. Warrior traditions have been identified in every society. Until the dawn of the 20th century, all cultures viewed physical courage to be the most valued human attribute. In nations, with a well developed warrior ethic, the qualities embodied by warriors were considered to be more important than intellectual accomplishments or moral worth. In the modern world, warriors are considered to be either an embarrassment or a menace. Warriors have become unfashionable people in democratic societies particularly during periods of peace.
