Bounty has a coconut filling covered with milk chocolate and is one of the few chocolates to come wrapped in two individual halves. It is manufactured by Mars, Incorporated and sold in several countries in Europe, Oceania, Canada, and the Middle East. Although Mars is an American company, Bounty bars have not been available in the United States since the mid-1990's.

Why doesn't Mars stock this in U.S.?
Best milk chocolate bar around, much better than Almond Joy or Mounds. Prompt shipping from this seller, merchandise as advertised.
Hey Mars, Why not in America???
Just like a Mounds bar ... only better because it has milk chocolate instead of dark. I remembered these from their initial marketing in the early 90s, then they disappeared. Imagine my delight when I went to the UK and found them there. I found them in Germany. I found them in Bahrain. They're made in America, but not sold here? "Whazzupwidat"???
