Amazon.com Product Description
Need a good kayak paddle but don't have a ton of storage space? Turn to the 7-foot KwikTek AHTK-P2 paddle, which breaks into two sections for easy transport and storage. The paddle offers an adjustable blade angle to accommodate both standard and offset paddling, along with large ABS blades with curved surfaces to promote greater paddling efficiency. And should you run into rough rapids and accidentally drop the paddle, the lightweight, durable aluminum shaft, drip rings, and foam hand grips will keep the paddle afloat until you can retrieve it. Each paddle section measures 49.5 inches long, with an 8.5-inch-wide paddle and a 2-inch diameter. The paddle sections weigh 3 pounds each.
Customer Reviews
Too short for a man.
It's just 84" paddle, not 92" as advertised and is good for kids and women but too short for a man.Stronger the person-longer the paddle.I'm 5'11" and 190 pounds and for me 96" paddle is good enough.
Good value for beginner
As my experience with kayaking is limited to quiet, pleasurable "lake" tours, I've no need to invest in an expensive paddle. The Kwik Tek is light, has different settings, hand grips and is comfortable to use. While I'm certainly no expert, it gets me where I'm going and the price was absolutely right! For me it was a great find and a great buy!
good option for the price
I bought this to use with an inflatable kayak, and I think it's a good paddle. It's a little heavy, but I'm not going long distances or trying to break any records, so for my use, it's fine. The length is ideal for the wider sides of an inflatable. It's got several click-in settings so you can pick the alignment of your blades. Nice comfy handles and drip guards. For the money, it's a great, sturdy paddle.
