![]() | Climbing the Cascade Volcanoes, 2nd by Jeff Smoot
Buy new: $11.21 / Used from: $1.85 Jeff Smoot is who he is but this book of his has really become sort of a classic as it denotes the high points that really matter and thereby makes an argument for the boundaries of Cascadia. Still fails to call them by their native names, I guess we will have to wait for the next generation to improve upon that.
|
![]() | Climbing Washington's Mountains (Climbing Mountains Series) by Jeffrey L. Smoot
Buy new: $19.80 / Used from: $12.82 Jeff Smoot is as problematic as Becky but in a different way. Between the two of them they can almost provide a good route description. This is the next generation's contribution to the dialogue; it has a good selection of hikes that "take it to the next level" ie, class 3 scrambles plus, enough to get you into rock climbing or just scare the poop out of you.
