Eessential spare water filters
The filters for my new undercounter water filter, most needed in rural Tennessee, were available only by special order at ACE hardware where I'd purchased the unit. All I can say is "Thank goodness for Amazon". Just another example of how survival would be most difficult here without it/them.

Good Water
Easy to change filter and water that tastes good are my criteria. To that I would add compact size. I use this in my RV, and the RV filter pack came with the level 4 filter which is much more rotund in size. It might do a more thorough job in filtering some things, but not that I can tell. This filer is half the price & lasts a full season. We use either city water or water in our tanks that has been filtered and re-chlorinated for storage. [1 Tablespoon per 10 gallons.] Works well & makes great tasting coffee & tea.

Great Filter!!!
I bought this filter and spare cartridge for my father. He said he doesn't like it... the water tastes flat. I told him the filter is working the way it's supposed to... it's filtering out all the bad stuff, especially chlorine, etc.
I like it, and will soon buy one for my house too.
