These elegant pairs of champagne toasting flutes each illustrate a different set of fortunate circumstances: Love and Romance is cut with gracefully entwined double hearts; Happy Anniversary showcases romantic bows to represent enduring ties; Achievements is covered with stars and streamers; and Happy Celebrations gives champagne extra sparkle with its own bubbles rising in the glass. The long, slender shaping of every 12-1/4-inch flute lends a fluid visual consistency to the collection, and the starburst cuts on the bases refract nearby light into joyful prisms of tiny rainbows. As expected with all of Waterford's full-lead crystal, the flutes sit with pleasurable weight in the hand and ring with clear, pure tones when clinked together at the end of a heartfelt speech. The pairs come attractively packaged in a signature gray, hinged presentation box with a care leaflet. They are made in Ireland and should be washed by hand to preserve the crystal's clarity and shimmer for generations to come. This series was introduced in the spring of 2006.
