Waterford and Marquis teamed up in 1991 to produce affordable crystal designs for the modern home. Sheridan exemplifies the principle, featuring vases and footed bowls in strong contemporary shapes cut with alternating wide and long wedges. Cocktail glasses, a sugar and creamer set, and pedestal cake platter are some of the other collection items, any of which makes a superb and enduring gift. Like all fine crystal, Sheridan pieces should be washed by hand to preserve the sparkling clarity.
