Webkinz Lamb
I buy the Webkinz for the virtual animal product code to use in Webkinz world. The other animals I've purchased haven't been especially cute but this one is! It has a cute little face and nice "wool". The virtual animals look much cuter (on line) than the stuffed animals in person. I definitely recommended buying the Webkinz animals to use on line but if you want cute animals there are other brands.

Not exactly all it claims to be
I purchased this Webkinz for my daughter's sixth birthday. I was pleased when it arrived; it appeared to be very well made, soft, and very cute! As my daughter loves lambs, she was overjoyed when she opened it. Being that she also loves playing on the computer, I knew the virtual pet aspect of the toy would delight her. We went through the adoption process and logged on. That's where the disappointment began.

We have owned this toy for only a few weeks, and my daughter tried just about every day to log on and play with the virtual pet. However, most of her attempts failed. The Webkinz site is apparently not built to accommodate the number of Webkinz users that actually exist! As a result, my daughter ends up being more frustrated than anything else. I guess the upside to this is that she at least has a cute stuffed animal. It's really unfortunate, since the concept is a good one...they seem to fail miserably in execution though. Don't buy this toy if you're in it just for the online play. Even with a high speed connection, it might be days before you're able to log in!

Seriously Cute Lamb!
This lamb is particularly soft and sweet. My granddaughters collect the Webkinz animals because they love to play with them on the Webkinz on-line site. They seldom play with plush toys, and most of them eventually find their way into a storage box under each bed. However, the Webkinz stuffed animals are well designed and generally well made. The website is very safe for children and contains many interesting and educational games and activities. The child is responsible for the well being of the on-line animal, and I think it promotes a healthy sense of empathy and responsibility. My granddaughters love decorating virtual rooms and growing food in their virtual gardens for their animals. They earn virtual Webkinz $$ to support their virtual Webkinz family. This website provides great, safe, on-line entertainment.
