RADICAL! WENDY O. AND THE PLASMATICS RULE GET IT!5
This DVD is a dream come true. I've been a Wendy O. and Plasmatics fan since she first started making headlines across the country and have been waiting for a product like this ever since. The DVD does an awesome job of covering the history of the band Wendy coming to NY and takes off from there; the albums, arrests, the battles with the establishment, the mind-blowing stageshows and her death defying videos. It's all here. There are great interviews with key band members, critics, historians and a lot of inside people you don't generally get to meet such as agents, and especially some great crew stuff. It is a wealth of previously unreleased video clips that will have collector's drooling. The live footage and video footage, of which there's over an hour in addition to the 2 hour rockumentary (total over 3 hours) is amazing. Cars getting blown up...there's never been anything like it. And Wendy, what can I say? Her vocals are the roughest, toughest there ever were....I can't stop playing it....thank you!!!

Wendy O. and Plasmatics '10 Years' is Completely OTT Get It!5
This DVD is not only a must buy for Wendy O and the Plasmatics fans, a must buy for anyone that likes to see an amazing and highly influential piece of history, but for anyone at all who simply likes to watch riveting footage. Among other classics as well as previously unreleased footage (e.g, of the famous Bond's Legal Defense Fund Shows in NYC) this DVD contains the classic vid 'It's My Life' from the Grammy nominated WOW album which shows Wendy transferring without a safety harness from a moving car to a single-engine plane on a rope ladder before the car goes over a cliff. This video which has been dubbed the 'most dangerous video ever made' is matched by example after example showing why Wendy O.Williams and the Plasmatics have never been matched. The arrests, the bannings, it's all here, and WOW does it rock! It's great that this has finally been released.

BETTER THAN I EVEN IMAGINED - BEST DVD I EVER GOT! 5
First of all I'm a Wendy O. and Plasmatics fanatic, but this is based on all the bootleg (sorry!) stuff I was able to accumulate over the years, mostly TV shows and some old pretty poor live footage, stills I got and so on. Even on the basis of this usually very poor stuff I was already a Wendy and Plasmatics fan. But I was totally unprepared for all the stuff on this DVD, the REAL live footage and all the clips from all her/their periods. It is over 3 hours long and so loaded with stuff that it's almost a steal. But when you see it all together like this, I know it sounds like a cliche but it's really mind-blowing. Every part is beyond cutting edge. It's daring in every way, totally political, and in-your-face and every phase was pioneering. It's obvious that in the early days the band depended on Swenson's OTT staging, costumes etc. but no one has done or dared to do anything at this level since. By the end of Wendy's career the music was phenomenal. It's no wonder why the authorities and the sexist, materialist power structure tried to shut her down. This DVD shows all the posers for what they were and are, it's so loaded with detail plus great live stuff, to put it simply, it's the best DVD I own. RIP - A FITTING TRIBUTE!
