Product Description

The Harptone Chipboard Acoustic Guitar Case is a super-affordable case for 6- and 12-string dreadnought (standard size) guitars. This is a great case in which to store & transport your guitar, and protect it against dust and daily bumps and bruises. Though it's not a true hardshell, it's a great, affordable alternative to gig bags, which don't offer rigid protection.

I needed something to haul around my Semi-Jumbo Yamaha F-310 guitar and this does the trick. I wasn't looking for anything fancy and something that would allow me to put the guitar safely in to the back seat. This does it without breaking the bank.

I wasn't sure if this would fit my guitar but I rolled the dice and I am pleased. the quality of the case is so-so but excellent for the price. I wouldn't recommend this case if you are looking for a case that will hold up to heavy use, not that it is falling apart, it just doesn't seem like it would do well. Take that for what it is worth -- but getting it back and forth to lessons or on a camping trip, it should be fine.

Terrible1

I bought this because I needed a hard case to transport my guitar when going on the bus (which once or twice every two months). I read the amazon reviews which were basically all positive at the time. I didn't expect a really nice case, just something that would get the job done.

The exterior of the case is OK. Questionable, it's really thin and doesn't seem like it would hold up to much force. Kinda like a more rigid cardboard.

The interior is terrible. There's absolutely NOTHING.

I would not spend the money on this case again even at 20$. I agree with the other person who said a gig bag offers more protection simply because there's no padding whatsoever on the inside.

what a find!5
This is a great deal @ a great price! Good, sturdy material--provides the needed protection so one can store/transport guitar without worry. I bought this for my daughter to keep her guitar from being banged around, and am very happy with its quality. I'd been putting off buying a case for her because of price--once I found this, I wish I hadn't waited so long to purchase it!
