You can trust Weight Watchers cookbooks!5
I've been using Weight Watchers cookbooks for at least 20 years. While the older cookbooks were kind of hit or miss, I must say that in the last few years the cookbooks have improved to the point that everything I've tried has been a hit.

This one is really a winner! The Sweet and Sour Pork, while not a traditional sweet and sour recipe (it's sweet but doesn't contain any "sour," such a vinegar or lemon juice), is very flavorful and a real favorite in our house.

Everything I've tried so far has turned out great and, as billed, is quick and easy to make. It's so great to have a repertoire of recipes that you can make at the last minute on your busiest days.

My husband doesn't even realize he's eating Weight Watchers recipes! They are that good.

I give this one 5 stars!!5
These are the yummiest recipes ever. This book made my husband broaden his horizons and eat food he had never eaten before in his life, including eggs! The recipes are fast, simple and you will find alot of the ingredients called for already on hand in your own home. I try 5 recipes a week and have yet to find one we don't love and have been trying the book out for a month now. The points are listed on each recipe so it makes it easy to count what you eat.

Great for getting a healthy meal on the table quickly5
This is a great go-to book for relatively straightforward meals that can be prepared in 30 minutes or less. I find that most of the recipes actually can be done within this time-frame, and they are fairly easy to make. Many recipes are even done in as little as 15 or 20 minutes and still taste surprisingly good (for example, the chicken curry recipe took about 20 minutes and was incredibly easy--it's a sweet curry with mango chutney, orange juice, and optional golden raisins). Recipes here run the gamut of flavors: American, Asian, Italian, Mexican, and more. The section on "family favorites" includes kid-friendly recipes like sloppy joes, shepherd's pie, and tex-mex chicken fingers. There are also a few elegant and sophisticated dishes (e.g., Capellini with Smoked Salmon and Caviar) that could impress company. This is not, however, a gourmet-style cookbook. You will not find many recipes that simply blow you away with their intense flavor, but you will find recipes that simply taste good and are made with easy-to-find ingredients that can be prepared on a busy weeknight. I appreciate that the recipes often call for fresh, whole ingredients; they are simple to make without resorting too often to short-cuts like processed sauces and canned vegetables. Highly recommended for people who want to eat healthy but don't have unlimited budgets/time. Added bonus: the pages are glossy and there are some (though I wish there were more) very nice color photos.
