Customer Reviews

Love it, my Level-Ett!5
Sorry, I couldn't resist! Anyway, I have a walk-out basement on a fairly steep sloping lot. Before I got this attachment I had to take a hand axe and cut a depression in the ground for one leg of the ladder every time I wanted to do something. I have a natural wood lap siding that needs to be resealed every few years so you can imagine the kind of fun I've been having. Not only does this thing do everything as advertised, you'll find that the strength of your ladder is degraded little, if any. Top quality construction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend purchasing to anyone.

Safety and Durability5
One of the safest and most durable tools I own. Saves time on the job due to its self leveling ability. Very well built and safer than other products on the market. Easy to install.

Easy to install, works well5
Unlike the similar Werner product, in my case installation of this leveler set required only minor modification to the ladder itself - four ¼" holes drilled into each rear rail below the first rung - installation took about 20 min, and the ladder could be easily returned to it's original configuration if desired. (This ladder, a Werner 24" 250lb rated aluminum model, had smooth rails after the feet were unbolted, other designs (such as those which carry the feet on straps riveted to the rails) would require more changes - though unusually still less than to install the Werner unit.)

The leveler legs adjust in ¾" increments and are positioned by pressing a button which allow the selected leg to drop, you then shift the ladder a bit one side or the other until the leg moves either up or down to the point where a spring loaded pin engages a hole in the leg.

As someone noted above, this device does add a few pounds to the ladder's weight, which might be an issue for someone working alone with a long, heavy ladder.

I used the included hardware for the installation; I'll keep a eye on it to see if any corrosion issues develop.

Update: After 3 years of use and 100% outdoor storage, these are still working well.
