Why I wrote "Changed Into His Image"

My target "audience" for this book was my own three daughters.

I wanted to place in their hands the information they needed to disciple their own children in the next generation. To many people trying to make progress in their Christian life is like trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle without looking at the picture on the box. "Changed Into His Image" attempts to show them the "big picture" of how God intends for them to change and grow. My prayer is that through clear biblical teaching and practical examples you can know how to build an intimate relationship with God--the "missing piece" in the experience of many believers.

A GREAT and very down to earth book on becoming Christ-like
Jim Berg has done a superb job in writing about the subject of sanctification. Down through the years, sanctification (how the Christian is progressively changed so that he or she is more like Christ) has often been misunderstood and misrepresented by preachers and believers alike.

Today, more than ever before, many believers and even pastors donÕt correctly understand this vital subject. The author, rather than using a lot of difficult theological terminology, has used many practical examples from everyday life to to show the believer how he can truly change. Through out the book, he points the believer to GodÕs Word which truly does have the answers for any believer who wants to become more like Christ.

If you donÕt have a clear picture of how you can change and become more like Christ, this is the book for you. If your Christian life has become stale, this book will no doubt open you eyes to your need for REAL, LASTING CHANGE. The author will show you how you can get more out of GodÕs Word and develop a closer relationship to the Lord.

This book is written in a way that it will be very helpful, to parents, pastors, and disciplers, alike. Good-but for youth
This Student Edition is truly that-it is meant for high school age students. It is a wonderful study with questions and statements that cause young adults to think and probe deeper into their faith. Although it is excellent, I had misunderstood the heading of student edition, thinking that it could be for anyone wanting to go a little deeper, but as mentioned it is geared to high school age beleivers.
