ONE OF THE BEST FORMATTED BIBLES OUT THERE!5
The Open Bible is a great tool for the beginner as well as the more mature student of the Scriptures. The Index at the front is one of the things which most attracted me to this Bible. It is the only Bible out there which provides this tool. I have only seen this type of index in medical books. In essence, the index breaks down, for example, the word "covenant". It breaks it down in a topical sense, for example: a covenant between God and man versus a covenant between man and man or whether it is a land covenant etc ...again, an awesome tool. Having studied the orginal languages it must be noted that in this writer's opinion the NASB is one of the best translations of the Scriptures.

May be the best study Bible... Worth owning even if you own other study Bibles5
This may not the most glamorous or flashiest study Bible on the market, but it could well be the best. If it your wish to understand passages in depth, enrich yourself with the Word, and grow in knowledge, this is an excellent choice of study Bible.

THE BIBLICAL CYCLOPEDIC INDEX is a tool which no other Bible has. It isn't just a "word search" tool, but an index of ideas, subdivided like ideas, not just words.

THE BOOK INTRODUCTIONS AND OUTLINES are extremely helpful and insightful; the outlines may be the best I have ever seen. You could preach from these if you wanted to. The intros give useful information, not just historical trivia that will never help you study the word or walk with the Lord.

So many other features are here. The charts, the Christian Life studies. One thing absent is "bottom of the page" commentary so common in study bibles. I don't miss them with this book.

The Open Bible Expanded Edition makes studying the Bible exciting, relevant and an important part of your Christian life.

This edition is not so huge like other study Bibles, but is large enough and has enough helps that you will glad for the bit of extra size, without having to complain about heaving around a library.

I have criticized other Bibles for having poor leather. This leather edition is not very supply or luxurious, but I am giving it a pass because the edition is so useful. I just may have this Bible re-bound by a professional book binder in goatskin. I would like to have it for a long, long time.

I also wish this Bible used the 1995 NASB version, instead of the 1977, but you can't have everything in any Bible edition, let alone a study Bible. There are too many features and variables on the market, and if you're waiting for the perfect combination of your favorite features, you will never read the Bible.

Buy this Bible and start enjoying it as soon as you can. It needs to be pushed to the top of the list of the Best Study Bibles so people will give it more attention.

None Better!5
I have used this Bible since it was originally made years and years ago. There are two main reasons I like the NAS Open Bible. First, the NAS comes the closest to the original Greek/Hebrew text. (I have used the KJV and looked up the Greek and Hebrew of words, and found that NAS already says that without my having to look the words up.) The other reason I like it is because the cross reference verses are right at the end of each verse (no looking through a long column to find the cross references.)

I love the NAS Open Bible and would recommend it above all other Bibles.
