A brilliant film that takes place in San Francisco and tells the story of a suit who learns how to live again.
This disc is bare bones, but if you have the means I highly recommend picking up the LaserDisc instead. It has all of Fincher's usual lovelies, including an alternate ending.

I had high hopes that this would include all the special features from the LD on yet another dying format, but alas, no such luck. This is bare bones too, and the image quality is sub-par for even DVD standards. (ouch!)

After five years of absence, Fincher returns to the big screen and the results are... underwhelming to me.
There were rumors of a six hour cut a la Von Stroheim's Greed, and there definitely was a three hour Director's cut. After seeing this film I would love to see either. This really left me wanting more, and not in a good way. I know that's sort of the point, but...
