Simply the most entertaining characters I've seen on British TV are the exploits of shady car salesman Arthur Daley, brilliantly portayed by George Cole, and ex-con, ex-boxer Terry McCann (Dennis Waterman). Terry is Arthur's bodyguard, or minder, and the sticky situations they get themselves in and out of are legendary.

A stellar show for 26 seasons from 1963-1989, and it's back stronger than ever. The longest running science fiction show in television history lives on and is having some of it's best success since the 70's.

Critics over the years have been a little too harsh on this entertaining, British produced, Sci Fi show.
