About the Author
Six-time Emmy Award Winner and Caldecott Honor recipient, Mo Willems spent nine years as a script-writer and animator for "Sesame Street". Great read aloud
As an elementary library media specialist I am always looking for quick good read alouds, and Mo Willems' pigeon books are tops of the list for pre-k through 3rd grade. I admit to being a bit of a ham and using voices, and the kids roll with laughter and shout out NO when the pigeon pleads to drive. They particularly like the nasal duckling voice I use with the hotdog book (think Steve Erkel).
