From the Back Cover

Read. Think. Pray. Live. The Bible isn't like any other book you'll ever read. Yes, it has all the elements of a great narrative--heroes and villains, epic battles, romance, betrayal--but more than that, it is the story of an eternal Savior and a Father who loved us before we even loved him back. In the same way, The Message Remix isn't like any other student Bible you've seen. It's purely, simply God's Word--in its most easily understood format ever. Make this vital book part of everything you are. Read it, cover to cover. The Remix features verse-numbered paragraphs to help you study and think deeply about the text. Pray that as you read, God will open your eyes to the personal messages he has for you. Finally, live it out. The more time you spend in The Message , the more your life will never be the same.

Customer Reviews

A baby christian5
I am not a student anymore, well, not in the practical sense. I am what my friends would call a baby christian though - my husband and I recently got baptised in May and God has changed our lives in amazing ways! With that said, I haven't ever read the bible cover to cover. Maybe most people don't read it that way - but I asked God to show me what bible to buy and he led me to this one. It's great for me, I can actually understand it without going to bible college. I like the translation and it is easy reading. I will go for the NIV version when I understand the bible more. I am plugged in at my church and will be getting "into the word" more as I grow in my faith. So, the moral of the story is, you don't have to be really young and a student to need a remix version of the bible. If you don't feel like you can sit down and read scripture cover to cover, then you can start with this. As a bonus, I like it that it's pink. I mostly like it that I am saved and God is working in my life. I wish I had a stronger relationsip with God when I WAS young, then I could have made better life decisions!

The Message Remix5
LaTonnya Peterson- I bought this bible for my mother on this mother's day. I like it compared to all the other Remix Bibles in Hypercolor because this one has the largest print. It was hard for me to decide because they all look so cool. I have a hard time reading the regular bible, so now I am going to purchase one for myself.

new and updated3
The print is small, and the paper they printed it on doesn't seem kind to your eyes, but for younger people it would be great I am sure. The version is different for us older folks, but I wanted to try something new this year in my reading the bible through. I try a new version each year so this year it was this one. It reads more like a novel then a bible, the verses are to the side not in the actual reading, which I like better as it flows easier. The version itself is different, and I find myself smiling in some of the terms they use. I think it would be great for younger people and for someone who is a new Christian. I find I have read it faster just because of the way it flows.
