Solid Music for Church Worship Leaders
A majority of songs are typically deeper lyrically than the average late '90s contemporary songs that transformed contemporary worship. This album sounds like an evolution of a style, and it is better for it. My primary issue with this album is also my only regret. To clarify - some of the arrangements, song lengths, and style make a number of the tracks inaccesible and too difficult for your typical church band/praise team to perform. However, these same elements make the CD a truly rewarding listening experience for individuals. Blast some of these songs on your car radio on the way home after a bad day of work and be prepared to have a shift in emotions. The highlight moment for me, is "Hiding Place", which we have performed in my church. The arrangement is simple, yet strickingly beautiful and effective. The yearning and honesty in Jared Anderson's voice is undeniable and the sound of that song is refreshing compared to the stadium rock anthems that comprise a majority of this album. On a side note: I understand the New Life Church was going through a difficult time during the recording of this album...the music contained in these 14 songs stands as a testiment that sometimes praise and worship (done right) can transform a situation and help the recovery of the soul.

Worth the purchase
If you like contemporary worship, this is the CD to get. There were so many great songs in there, I was surprised. Endlessly is a masterpiece! Get the video or the CD, or both! It is worth it!

Great Praise and Worship
Love the style of Glen Packiam and the guys. My presonal favorite is Endlessly. I felt the style was real, unique and not the cheesy worship music that you hear. More of a harder style, but still worshipful. "This is Our God" is a standard strong worship song I can see churches using. Great lyrics, I would recommend this CD.
