From the Manufacturer
Award-winning chef-restaurateur Tom Douglas, Riedel Glassworks, and Amazon.com introduce a stemware line that blends elegance and accessibility, making it a perfect choice for weeknight dinners or stylish cocktail parties. Created by Nachtmann, a division of renowned crystal company Riedel Glassworks, this decanter features a classic, elegant European design and a platinum finishing process for durability and shine. Decanting your favorite vino in this vessel exposes the wine to more surface area and oxygen, allowing the bouquet to fully develop to maximum potential while creating a visually stunning appeal, pour after pour. The 25-1/4-ounce decanter holds one standard bottle of wine and is dishwasher-safe. Tom Douglas by Pinzon also offers a set of Bordeaux glasses, a set of white wine glasses, and a set of Champagne glasses, all created by Nachtmann.

Customer Reviews
wine decanter by Pinzon
This is a nicely made wine decanter. It works well in dispersing the wine along its sides for oxygenating. If it were to be redesigned I would only change the diameter of the mouth to allow a little more space for pouring the wine into the decanter, as sometimes the wine spills over the edge when filling.
More durable than most "fancy" glasses
I have always been a big fan and believer of the Riedel line of stemware. I wanted to purchase a more casual set for my daughter wedding and this new line from Riedel seemed to be perfect for the event. I also was drawn to this collection because I happen to also be a big fan of Tom Douglas! He provided a few tips about this line and why he picked them which resonated with me "These fabulous glasses complement the wine, bring it out, so to speak, and are much more durable than most "fancy" glasses." Being a no-nonce type of guy like Tom I knew that if he felt they were durable they would be.
The wedding was a success and the stemware held up perfectly. We had a few causalities but at this price one cannot complain. I now have a great casual collection for weekend events and lots of great memories!
