great item - but
a nice item for opening standard 750ML wine bottles, but, opener cannot
be used to open the larger 1.5L bottles according to instructions included - this is information that should be pointed in product description

This is the greatest thing!! No more fighting with screw pulls! I sell alot of wine openers at my job and this is what I recommend for everybody!!! It's so easy and simple!!

cool gadget, but doesn't always work.
this wine opener is definitely a very cool little gadget to ooh and aah guests, but it does not always work on every bottle. some corks are too long for the needle to puncture the entire length, so you are left to resort back to a screw opener. also the foil cutter works well but makes the gadget a bit large and bulky to work with. perhaps using a traditional foil cutter and the corkpops model without built-in cutter would be more convenient. otherwise, a great little tool, and surprising how fast the cork just pops right out when it does. :) nice little gift for wine lovers.
