great shoes... great deal!
got these on clearance... i was nervous because i don't buy shoes without being able to try them on. but for the price i couldn't pass them up. they are soooo comfortable. and wide enough... i always wear a 10 but some brands run narrow for me (nike) but not so with these. they are great!

Great shoe, but runs VERY small
I ordered 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size, based on another reviewer's comment that the shoes ran a little small. Unfortunately, they run QUITE small. The size 9s I ordered (I wear a size 8.5 in every other pair of shoes I own, including hiking shoes) were so uncomfortably tight when I put them and wore them for awhile while sitting down (not even walking in them at all) I had to return them.

For the short period of time I had the shoes, however, I was quite pleased with the quality and workmanship. I would definitely order one full shoe size larger than I normally wear if I bought these in the future (the ill-fitting pair I got at a huge discount during a post-Christmas sale on Amazon.com, so sadly the price is now sky high once again precluding me from buying a proper-fitting pair immediately.)

very comfortable shoe
Just received shoes in the mail and one day later hiked a 3-mile rugged mountain and my feet have never felt better. Shoe provides great stability and comfort for rugged terrain. Can wear a 81/2 or 9 but went with the 9 to allow for socks. Perfect fit. Highly recommend, especially for the price. Got mine for 23.00. What a bargain. Plan to buy another pair for later.
