JIM Colucci does it again!---5
Jim Colucci did it again!!! Such a funny, well written and insightful look at a show (which in my opinion is the second coming of I love Lucy- only better.) Who doesn't want to wax poetic about his/her inner Golden Girl? This work is obviously well researched. This author seems to "get" these beloved actresses at the next level. If you love the Golden Girls, you must get read this book even if you are as straight as Oprah! Yes, there is life life beyond Will and Grace...

Re-tread fan5
I used to watch "The Golden Girls" along with several other sitcoms. I really hadn't watched it in a while, but after reading this book, I am an energized fan! I loved all the trivia, backgrounds and insights on the characters, writing and the development of the show itself. This is a fun book to pick up and re-read. It is extremely well-written and layed out with lots of interesting sections and surprises. I highly recommend this one!

Entertaining Reading5
I only recently discovered "The Golden Girls" and didn't know a whole lot about them. Thanks to Mr. Colucci, I learned how they came to be, as well as lots of trivia. Sometimes I had to laugh out loud as I was reading. This is a great book, as you can pick it up and read bits and pieces whenever you have a few spare minutes. The author definitely did his homework; he included quotes from many personalities, both people connected with the show and famous fans. I enjoyed reading his and others' thoughts on exactly what it was about these four women that attracted such fierce loyalty and love from so many diverse groups.
