Customer Reviews

Great, but don't bother if you bought her pregnancy book4
This daily diary is hilarious; filled with all of Vicki Iovine's usual tongue-in-cheek, tell it like it is humor. She keeps it accurate, keeps it real, and keeps it between us Girlfriends.

However, it is the EXACT SAME MATERIAL as her Guide to Pregnancy book, so if you've bought the book, I wouldn't necessarily bother with the diary unless you really do plan to write in a DAILY diary during your pregnancy...Remember, an average pregnancy is 280 days long!

Save your dollars and buy the book instead. It's a lot more fun to read, and then you won't have the added guilt of looking at all those blank lines that you "meant to fill in" during those 280 days. By the time Junior arrives, you won't care a whit about your pregnancy journal anyway (nor will you usually want to relive the experience)!

Wonderfully informative and funny book5
I LOVED this book. I had read all the " medical " type books and this provided a great humorous view on the pregnancy experience. It also gave me a realistic picture of what to expect in the delivery room. I purchase this book as a gift for all my pregnant friends to keep them laughing.

An excellent book that takes the mystery out of pregnancy.5
I won't repeat the raves that the other reviewers have for the book, but simply expand on them. I too laughed out loud in most of the sections. But, more importantly, instead of giving the usual boo-scary information that pregnancy books share, the book answered my stranger concerns: is it normal to gag when I brush my teeth and why have I had a stuffy nose since conception. And, she gives some really sensible and friendly advice on what to wear while you're pregnant, why you shouldn't be afraid of the amnio, what you really need to buy for the baby at first and what you'll need at the hospital. The funniest and most honest chapter is Men and Pregnancy. My husband could be the poster boy for it. Don't buy it for medical info (there are plenty of other books for that), but, if you are pregnant, buy it and get some peace of mind
