Not as good as I expected
I bought this item a few months ago. I have only used it once but it is already rusted from being outside. Seems to me, that an item for outdoor use would not rust quite so easily.
Also, the door does not function properly. It comes off when you open it.
On the plus side, it does give off a good amount of heat.
If I were purchasing this item now, I would probably keep looking.

Heads-up
I just recieved this in the mail. Setup was 15 minutes, but the frame and metal is thin. I am not saying it isn't a good unit, but I am afraid it won't last as long as I had intended. The burn areas is bigger than most I have seen, but the pan below appears to have some gaps allowing ambers to fall to the grownd. Again, I have not used this yet - but was expecting it to be a bit tougher in the frame. I would not pay more than $150 for this - HD, LOWES & Other locations provide for a bit more money what I believe could be longer lasting units. Overall I am glad I purchased this but learned quality cannont be confirmed via a picture or desciption. Best of luck and happy burning.

Good for the money...
This fireplace gave me the look I wanted without the big price tag. I wish it was bigger, but beggars can't be choosers. The craftmanship is a little flimsy and I wasn't aware that I would actually have to put it together, but it all worked out.
