Effective and Easy to Use

It provides one-hand operation and aerates wine differently than competing products. Rather than passing the wine through a narrow chamber and injecting air into the wine, the Soiree achieves aeration by relying on the tendency liquids have to adhere to surfaces- effectively exposing much of the wine to air while pouring. In a 4-way blind tasting I conducted with 3 tasters of varying degrees of familiarity with wine, the Soiree finished first. Impresively effective!
I had reservations, but the other reviewer is spot on. Easy and fun to use, and makes a very noticeable difference especially on young, tight reds. 'Softer' or 'Smoother' are the common responses I get when I do dinner table side by side comparisons (with and without aeration). -This is product testing I can really get in to. Great conversation piece and makes my big reds open up, immediately, without having to find/clean a decanter.

Works great. I like that you can decant/aerate a glass at a time without pouring the whole bottle through.
