Customer Reviews
good to hear a play through albulm!
This album is very reflective, I listen to Mollys Yes and I wanted to say they sound like U2, or Icehouse, or alot of other 80's alternative pop rock bands.....but you know, they all have grown up listening to this music so why shouldn't they represent so many great sounds. This is a great album all of the way through, It is POP, but it has class, and style contrived of the best music since the birth of rock n roll. Give it a listen, it is not cheesy. The lyrical content is thick with emotion, cryptic meaning( sugar ) , and heart-felt writing. Instrumentals are very tight and , it offers a new skool feel with some great touches added in the production booth. I like this album and Ihighly recomend it! By the way I have seen them live and they sound as real live as they do on their album. Check Mollys Yes out, I don't think you will be disapointed, espicially if you liked alternative pop in the mid to late 80's.
I am in love with Molly's Yes
What a great band. Lots of territory covered with this album. Simple pop songs on the one hand, almost a techno/electronic vibe at time at others. Kinda highbrow, but blatantly accessible also. I find myself back-clicking the first song over and over--defintitely my favorite song of the moment. #2 Sugar is saccharine sweet, but the lyrics really hit home. my other faves are "hypnotic" (sounds like morrissey for the millenium) and "scars" (I can see them on MTV now). Nice job!
Awesome Band
This band has the sound to take them to the top. Look out Sugar Ray, here comes Mollys Yes. This group is awesome. Look at their web site, they are in style.
