solid piece of work
this album has been out for 9 years and this is the first review? shameful!
call me up and shes the one are classics. the rest of the album is very good. i havent ever been to a world party show, but now that the band is touring again, im looking forward to my first.

A Real Gem
Listened to this wonderful album this morning and, as always, I'm reminded how wildly talented Karl and crew are. I saw them over a decade back when they were through town promoting Egyptology and it was wicked. One review said the band sounds like what the Beatles would sound like if Prince and Dylan were members, and I've used similar analogies myself. The problem with such comparisons, though, is it makes it would like World Party is a retro wannabe band, which they aren't by any stretch.
