This DVD includes my all time favorite match that is Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho. This match is filled with false finishes, stolen finishers, and great mat wrestling. Kind of obvious and predictable aftermatch, but that doesn't take away from the match quality.

Match #6 is the legendary battle between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. What can I say? This is regarded as one of the greatest WrestleMania matches by many historians. Both men expertly mix aerial offense and technical wrestling.
WWE - No Mercy 2002WWE - No Mercy 2002

My #7 match is in my opinion the greatest tag team match ever. The one I'm referring to is Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio and Edge. My #10 match in WWE DVDs is a ladder match between Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels. This match is what a ladder match should be. The ending was especially memorable for me because it symbolized the struggle for power on Raw at the time. The match itself is wonderful. Jericho ends up chipping his tooth in this battle.
WWE: Summerslam 2008WWE: Summerslam 2008

My #11 match is from 2 months ealier. The Undertaker vs. Edge in the Hell in a Cell is the best Hell in a Cell I've seen yet. This match marks the first time that the participants went outside the cell since Judgment Day 2002. The ending of the match is also unique in that aspect as well.
WWE Royal Rumble 2000 [VHS]WWE Royal Rumble 2000 [VHS]

My #12 match on this list is the street fight featuring Cactus Jack and Triple H. This is truly one of the best street fights ever. This is unpredicable as both men involved pull out all of the stops. The ending is also memorable as Foley takes two pedigrees.
WWE Summerslam 2001WWE Summerslam 2001

The match that wins #13 on my list is Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle. This match is nothing short of incredible. Angle takes a few stunners to open the contest. Shame this match ended in a disqualification because it had false finishes and very creative counters involved.
WWE No Way Out 2006WWE No Way Out 2006

This match is the greatest No Way Out match ever, and in my opinion the match of 2006. #14 goes to Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker. This match was a spectacle. This match really shown that Undertaker knows how to sell moves. The ending was very creative and controversial in a way.
WWE WrestleMania X-SevenWWE WrestleMania X-Seven
Buy used from: $27.95
Now, I could name half of the card as #15 for this PPV. But, I will go ahead and say that TLC 2 stole the show featurig the Hardyz, Edge and Christian, and the Dudleyz. This match was an awesome spotfest that included dives from ladders, smashes through tables, and interference.
WWE Raw Presents: VengeanceWWE Raw Presents: Vengeance
Buy new: $16.99 / Used from: $2.24
The match I'm rewarding #16 in this list is Rob Van Dam vs. Edge. This was a very athletic contest that involved a few spots mixed with ground technique. Why this was in the mid card over the main event is beyond me. But definately should have main evented the PPV.
WWE Royal Rumble 2004WWE Royal Rumble 2004
Buy new: $9.49 / Used from: $2.04
The match that earned #17 in my book on this PPV is Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H. This match is what a last man standing match should have. Suspense, buildup, false finishes, wrestling, weapon usage, and a creative finish.
WWE WrestleMania 24WWE WrestleMania 24
Buy new: $23.99 / Used from: $3.68
This is one of the better WrestleManias of the decade and the home of #18, which is Edge vs. The Undertaker. This is one of the greatest main events in WrestleMania history, in my opinion. It started out slow, then escalated into a fast paced match. This was my first PPV I watched live, and this match was a good way to end my first live PPV.
WWE Unforgiven 2003WWE Unforgiven 2003

The match that ranks as #22 on my list is the triple threat between John Cena, Triple H, and Edge. The match itself was full of everything needed for a triple threat match. multiman moves, double teaming, and false finishes.
WWE No Way Out 2004WWE No Way Out 2004
Buy new: $10.99 / Used from: $2.37
This #23 match is probably one of the most memorable matches barring WrestleMania main events. The match I'm talking about is Eddie Guerrero vs. Brock Lesnar. Now, I will admit, this match is really slow to watch at first, but about 10 minutes into it. It starts becoming very interesting. It also had a really awesome ending and an awesome celebration.
WWE Judgment Day 2002WWE Judgment Day 2002
Buy used from: $67.95
The match that I am referring to give #24 is the Hell in a Cell match between Chris Jericho and Triple H. This match is in my opinion what a Hell in a Cell should be. It had fighting at the top, a sick ref bump, weapon spots, false finishes, and a unique ending in that it was the only cell match to end on top.
WWE: Backlash 2005WWE: Backlash 2005
Buy new: $13.99 / Used from: $1.98
Finally, my #25 match is the last man standing match between Edge and Chris Benoit. I feel this match does not get the praise that it deserves although it is one of the better last man standing matches in history. This had a nice pacing to it as well as a few nice spots and a really creative ending.
