Editorial Reviews
From Library Journal
In this new compendium on natural healing, Null, a leading health and fitness writer and radio host, has collected the most effective alternative approaches to treating women's unique healthcare concerns. He presents 28 ailment categories (e.g., Aging, Depression, and Osteoporosis) arranged alphabetically by chapter and focused on prevention, symptoms, diagnosis, and conventional and alternative treatments. Each chapter concludes with a "From the Literature" section, with numerous citations from scholarly medical journals like Lancet. Null gathered his sensible medical advice and self-help therapy by consulting with over 100 leading alternative health practitioners and by conducting extensive medical literature reviews. Contributing specialists are listed in the back along with their addresses and credentials. Because of Null's background as a trained nutritionist, there is a strong emphasis on nutrition and diet therapy. While it is not organized in true encyclopedic format, this skillfully assembled and easy-to-understand chapter book would be an excellent complement to traditional medical texts like the American Medical Association Complete Guide to Women's Health (LJ 10/1/96).?Rebecca Cress-Ingebo, Fordham Health Sciences Lib., Wright State Univ., Dayton, Ohio

Great Book
This is a great book. A few easy changes in your life and you can be on the road to healing. I also liked how they had actual medical facts about many of the ideas in the book.
