| This group of books is most helpful to those seeking a way to get some basic information about the night sky and constellations. Some, like NightWatch and The Peterson's Field Guide to Stars and Planets, have a pretty comprehensive overview of the night sky and astronomy. While others, like the Rey books or 365 Starry Nights, use graphics and simple drawings that are suitable to children or adults just starting their exploration of stars and constellations. Finally, Bad Astronomy is an excellent choice for helping to dispel some of the misconceptions and errors common to the pop-culture view of Astronomy. | ||
