A Must Read for Surgery Patients4
After choosing a trusted doctor and scheduling surgery, reading Joseph Casey's latest book is the intelligent patient's next vital step in preparing himself for the ordeal mentally and physically. Mr. Casey believes, as do many of the widely respected doctors he cites, in the healing power of healthy thoughts, attitudes and practices.
He presents an array of strategies that complement and support conventional medicine. He encourages patients to adopt positive attitudes towards their healing. On the practical side, he suggests a host of sensible ways to ensure good pre- and post-operative care.
"Health," he concludes, "is far too serious a matter to be left to the doctors."

A Gift of Healing Insights5
Joe's book is obviously a labor of love full of useful information that will enable each of us to stay empowered and to make intelligent choices when facing significant challenges to our well-being. The degree of attention given to a wide array of issues, and the specific tools given to address them, speak of a great compassion and deep contemplation of the demands of facing surgery. Joe's work will expand the credibility of hypnosis and benefit all in need of direction and support in understanding how to relate to illness and injury. Thanks, Joe!
