Product Description

In The Future... showcases the first student work created in the new Entertainment Design program at the prestigious Art Center College of Design. Entertainment design requires strong industrial design, architectural and illustration skills, as the designers create characters, environments, vehicles and props. Examples of class work from such courses as Originality in Design, Character Design, Architectural Design, Visual Development and Color Theory are presented. This stunning collection of sketches, renderings, and models created by the inaugural class of entertainment design students is a "must-have" for any fan of entertainment design and for those who have enjoyed the first Art Center student book, The Skillful Huntsman.

Great showcase of talents4
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RJBDDBS3UJBEY This book is the portfolio of students who attended course at the Art Center College of Design.

It's an impressive showcase of work from the students. The art pieces are selected from the curriculum of the art course.

Specifically, the art in this book are categorized into 5 areas: Character, Color Theory, Architecture, Visual Development and Originality. All the designs and paintings are captioned by their creator to explain the concept behind.

This book is probably to promote the students to studio headhunters and to prospective students. It shouldn't be too hard achieve that, looking at the quality of talent here.

There are more pictures of the book on my blog. Just visit my Amazon profile for the link.

Art & Illustrations by the Great Artists & Designers of Tomorrow5
"In the Future" is a great follow-up/companion piece to Design Studio Press' previous student publication "The Skillful Huntsman." Where as "Huntsman," followed the process of three students, "Future," documents the work of an entire group of students. There is a wide variety of work and exploration - from pencil/graphite, to markers, experimental media, digital, etc. Many different approaches are shown and this is one of the few places where they are all collected together. The students show a great deal of promise and who knows what they will professionally accomplish in the future.

Excellent insight on Entertainment design Work 5
Awesome illustrations, digital and traditional. A very good book with detailed artwork done by students of Art Center Pasadena Ca. Every page is packed with creative talent applied to many different situations. I would highly recommend this book as well as many others coming out of the Design Studio Press!
