About the Author
After divorce made her a single parent, Rita Laws, Ph.D., chose laughter as one of her coping mechanisms. With a large family built through birth and adoption, and an average ratio of at least one pet per child, there was never a shortage of situations to laugh about. A former schoolteacher, Laws has been a freelance writer and author for over 20 years. She and her three youngest children currently rides in Oklahoma.

I stayed up to finish the book and giggled all night!
I picked up this book expecting to smile a few times and instead found myself laughing uproariously. The book is well written; each child is brought to life with these quirky anecdotes. The reader feels like she knows this family. I hope there's enough left in this family's funny file to create a sequel!

Loved this book!
This is a quick-read for busy parents and is just delightful. I work in the field of adoption and laughed my way through it. Oh, I wish I had written down the silly things my children had said when they were small. Kudos!
