About the Author
Lavelle Carlson is a speech-language pathologist whose main interests have been working with children diagnosed with dyslexia and children diagnosed with autism. She is president of Children's Publishing, publisher and reseller of early intervention materials. She is also president of the Austin Area Association of Speech-Language Pathologists.

Disappointing...
I really wanted to like this book, but sadly ended up returning it. The story was rather bare bones & disconnected. The illustrations were likewise bland and unengaging. Just not at all what I was expecting. I guess I was anticipating something more along the lines of "Tumble Bumble", with the addition of an interactive CD. This title may be appropriate for a specific target audience... but wasn't appropriate for the child I was shopping for.
