About the Author

Katrina Estes-Hill is an artist, writer, and storyteller who performs "Fatdaddy's Watermelon and Other Tales from the Hollow" at events and shows her art at various venues. She recently released her first storytelling CD. Her published children's stories "Mary Lou's Biscuit Bar" and "An Afternoon with Papaw", appear in The Cherubic Children's Classic Storybook and Hopscotch Magazine for Girls.

The kind of chldrens book we've been waiting for.
This is the kind of book that inspires children to get out from in front of the television and use their imagination to have a variety of adventures. I bought two of these books, for my six grandchildren, and I have had very positive feed back. The younger ones especially love the artwork. An excellent small investment, to entertain your kids.
