Author Lisa Suhay is an award-winning journalist and children s book author. Her writings have appeared frequently in newspapers, magazines and online. Ms. Suhay is the author of eight children's books, including There Goes a Mermaid!; Tell Me a Story; and The Mermaids and Yellow Jack. One of her children's fables has been performed as a symphony (The Mouse and the Light, music composed by Eric Chappelle).
