A guy's perspective
It might seem strange for a man to be recommending this book, given the title. But I have a woman friend trapped in a relationship with a real loser of a guy, so I bought a copy of the book for her. Before actually giving her the book, I read it for myself, and really enjoyed it. I felt that it was realistic, fair, and practical. The author is sensitive to what such women are going through, but firm about what must be done. And yet the book also has plenty of humor, which makes it an easy and pleasant read.

Is saying LIFESAVER too extreme??
